Monster Jerky can be crafted in an Enhanced Crafting Table. When consumed, it removes any Hunger status effect and gives Saturation I for 0.25 seconds.
Note: I ate regular rotten flesh to give myself Hunger first. Also, the saturation effect is very hard to see, in the video it flashes for a quarter of a second in the top right.
