# Soulbound Rune

## Overview

The Soulbound Rune is a conversion item that turns other gear into soulbound gear.
A soulbound item will not drop on death and is instead returned when you respawn.

## Usage

Drop the rune onto a dropped item to apply it.
Once converted, that item becomes soulbound instead of behaving like normal gear on death.

## Good uses

* Binding your favorite tools or weapons
* Protecting expensive utility items
* Keeping recovery-critical gear on you after death
