# Portable Crafter

## Overview

The Portable Crafter gives you instant access to your personal 2x2 crafting grid without placing a workstation.

## Usage

Right-click while holding the Portable Crafter to open a crafting menu.
Use it for quick recipes while exploring, caving, building, or repairing gear away from base.

## Good uses

* Turning logs into planks or sticks on the move
* Crafting torches, tools, or utility items in the field
* Avoiding extra trips back to a placed crafting station

## Notes

* The Portable Crafter is not placed as a block.
* It is a convenience tool, not a replacement for larger crafting stations like the [[enhanced_crafting_table|Enhanced Crafting Table]].
