# Pickaxe of the Seeker

## Overview

The Pickaxe of the Seeker is a prospecting tool that points you toward the nearest supported ore block.

## Usage

Right-click with the Pickaxe of the Seeker to search the area around you for a nearby ore block.

If one is found, your character is turned to face it automatically. If no ore is found, the pickaxe will tell you that nothing was detected.

## Notes

  * The search range is configurable and defaults to `5` blocks in every direction.
  * The item has a `20` second cooldown between uses.
  * Using it damages the tool.
  * It can be repaired with a [[Synthetic Diamond]].
