# GPS Teleporter Pylon

## Overview

The GPS Teleporter Pylon is a required support block for a placed GPS teleporter.

## Usage

Build a ring of eight pylons around the [[gps_teleportation_matrix|GPS Teleporter Matrix]].
The teleporter checks for all eight surrounding pylons before it will open.

## Why it matters

* The matrix will not function as a teleporter by itself.
* Pylons are part of the structure, not just decoration.
* They visually mark the teleporter pad and make the setup easy to recognize.

## Notes

* Teleporter Pylons are special animated blocks used only for this structure.
* They are used together with a [[gps_activation_device|GPS Activation Device]] and a [[gps_teleportation_matrix|GPS Teleporter Matrix]].
