# GPS Geo-Scanner

## Overview

The GPS Geo-Scanner scans a chunk for Slimefun's hidden GEO resources.
Use it before building extraction machines so you know whether a chunk contains anything worth mining.

## Usage

Right-click a block in the chunk you want to inspect.
The chosen block only selects the chunk; the scan result applies to the whole chunk.

## Why scan first

Machines like the [[geo_miner|GEO Miner]] and [[oil_pump|Oil Pump]] depend on these chunk-based resources.
Scanning first prevents wasted setups and helps you compare multiple candidate locations.

## Notes

* The scanner checks access permissions before scanning, so claimed or protected land may block it.
