# Energy Connectors

## Obtaining

Energy connectors can be crafted in an [[Enhanced Crafting Table]].

## Usage

An energy connector must be placed within 6 blocks of an [[energy_and_electricity#machines | Electric Machine]], [[energy_and_electricity#energy_generation | Energy Generator]], [[Energy Regulator]], [[energy_capacitors | energy capacitor]], or another connector (in a straight line, not diagonals).

They transfer energy between blocks in that range, so they can be used to extend your network.

## Capacity

Unlike [[energy capacitors]], connectors do not store energy.
