====== Electric Smeltery ======

The Electric Smeltery is the powered version of the [[smeltery|Smeltery]] for alloy work. Unlike the normal Smeltery, this electric branch is focused on alloy recipes and does not smelt dust straight into ingots.

===== How to use it =====

  - Connect the machine to a powered [[energy_and_electricity|Energy and Electricity]] network.
  - Insert a valid alloy recipe.
  - Leave output space for the finished alloy.
  - Collect the result after processing finishes.

===== Behavior =====

  * The Electric Smeltery is for alloy recipes only.
  * It does not replace every function of the regular Smeltery, because dust-to-ingot smelting is deliberately excluded.
  * Higher tiers improve throughput but also increase power demand.

===== Module support =====

  * The Electric Smeltery supports all four [[machine_modules|Machine Modules]]: Speed, Efficiency, Capacity, and Productivity.
  * Alloy lines tend to run in bursts, so Capacity and Efficiency are comfortable first upgrades before you stack heavy Speed.

  * Use this when your metal line needs bulk alloys rather than simple ingot smelting.
  * Keep a different machine for dust-to-ingot work so your alloy line stays focused and unclogged.
