The Electric Press is a compacting machine. It uses power to compress items into denser forms, such as turning nine loose materials into a storage block.

===== How to use it =====

  - Connect the machine to a powered [[energy_and_electricity|Energy and Electricity]] network.
  - Insert a valid press recipe input.
  - Leave room in the output slots.
  - Collect the compacted result after processing.

===== Behavior =====

  * The Electric Press handles the same style of compaction recipes shown in its guide entry.
  * It is especially handy for storage and for recipes that require compressed material blocks.
  * Higher tiers increase throughput, but also demand more power.

===== Module support =====

  * The Electric Press supports all four [[machine_modules|Machine Modules]]: Speed, Efficiency, Capacity, and Productivity.
  * If you use it for big storage conversions, Speed is the most obvious quality-of-life upgrade while Efficiency helps keep the power bill reasonable.
